Thanks giving dinner. Loved it. Delivered all the way from League City to northwest Houston on Thanksgiving Day,when other restaurants that were open, would not.

The food was good and the service and even better!! Brandi was so sweet and made sure my coffee cup was full and hot! Next time we will make sure she's our server again

My mum wanted a free breakfast and as a family came here. I was a bit skeptical considering we were close to Santa Fe and usually the people out there can be unwelcoming and give disgusted looks to minorities, but surprisingly, the service at Black Bear Diner was different! Our waitress was a doll; sweet, gave good recommendations, attentive, and patient. I didn't know Black Bear had vegan options and nut milk including oat. This is the first breakfast parlor that cooked my mum's favorite kind of egg the way she likes it: fried hard without any runny parts. The food can be a bit bland, but they have hot sauce, salt, and pepper on the table. My food was tasty, but was fulfilling. We had a pleasant experience.

Come hungry! My husband and I really enjoy having breakfast here on weekends. The menu is large and the service is fast. It's a popular place in a busy area, so there are sometimes waits to get in. The good news is that even when they are busy, the wait has never been long. As for the food, it's very consistent and delicious. The menu is large, so there should be something for everyone. The calories are high for most dishes, but if you're trying to be mindful of calories, there is a section with lower calorie dishes. This morning I enjoyed the vegetarian omelette with country potatoes and a biscuit. The omelette was fluffy and delicious. The biscuits are large and soft. The potatoes have great flavor.

For a breakfast place I would suggest it. If your not their early then your going to wait. Luckily there are pretty fast and the wait isn't too bad. Have a decent selection for a menu but be ready to eat some big calories if that's what you want.

Drove by here many times and decided to finally see what they had to offer. My family just got done taking Christmas photos near by and wanted a bite for brunch. My sister who has been here before also recommended the restaurant. Place was very clean and organized, staff were also super friendly. You really get what you pay for, everything came out hot and fresh. The baby and wife did not have any complaints. Will definitely return and try the rest of their menu.
